One of the most fascinating natural phenomena is the sunset on the Oregon coast. The painting depicts the moment when the sun, having descended very close to the earth, highlights the clouds in the sky from below and they acquire all sorts of shades – intense orange, pink and muted purple. Everything in nature gradually calms down and only the light sound of the surf is heard.
